Meet The Founder
Alex Lesage is a father, neurodiversity advocate, and builder in every sense of the word. Based in British Columbia, he spends his days working with his hands and his nights diving deep into autism, ADHD, and behavior science.
When his youngest daughter was diagnosed as autistic, his first instinct was to fix what he didn’t understand. His oldest has severe ADHD—just like him—so it felt like another challenge to solve.
But as he pushed harder to “get it right,” something else was breaking: his relationship with his daughter. The more he tried to control what he didn’t yet understand, the more distant they became. She started believing her dad didn’t love her—and that shattered him.
That’s when everything changed.
Alex stopped trying to “fix” her and started learning to see her. What he found was not a problem, but a brilliance—and a deep need for better resources, especially for families like his. Ones who don’t have time for fluff or pity. Ones who just need help connecting.
That’s why he created No Cure Needed. Not as a brand. As a mission. A promise to help neurodivergent kids feel powerful in their difference—and help families build bridges instead of walls.
Who We’re Here For
No Cure Needed exists for neurodivergent kids—the ones who think differently, feel deeply, and move through the world on their own frequency. We’re here to make sure they don’t grow up thinking they need to be fixed.
And we’re here for the adults raising them—parents, caregivers, educators, and allies who want more than awareness. They want tools, truth, and a path forward that celebrates difference without apologizing for it.
Why No Cure Needed Exists
No Cure Needed is a celebration of neurodivergent brilliance—raw, real, and unapologetic. We reject the tired “fix-it” mindset because your brain isn’t broken. It’s badass. This isn’t about curing who you are—it’s about unleashing it.
We believe that when you support neurodivergent kids—not just to cope, but to thrive—you’re not just helping them. You’re changing the game for everyone. These kids don’t need to be forced into a mold. They need to be equipped with tools that let them turn their wiring into their weapon.
Because when neurodivergent minds are empowered early, they grow into confident adults who innovate, lead, and rewrite the rules for what’s possible. This isn’t just about awareness. It’s about action. And it starts with them.

What We Believe
- Neurodiversity is natural. ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and more—these aren’t disorders to “fix,” they’re ways of thinking that drive creativity, resilience, and depth. They can be superpowers.
- No pity. No cure. We’re not broken, defective, or waiting for a fix. We don’t need your sympathy—we need space to thrive.
- Difference isn’t deficiency. Being neurodivergent doesn’t make someone better or worse—it just makes them different. And different belongs.
- Adaptation is power. The world may not meet us halfway—but we’re not here to play victim. We teach kids how to translate their differences into strategies, strengths, and skills that hit hard and work smart.
Our Mission:
- Celebrate difference — Spotlight the strengths, creativity, and brilliance of neurodivergent kids—not as exceptions, but as essentials.
- Equip and empower — Provide tools, support, and mindset shifts that help kids turn their neurodivergence into an edge, not a burden.
- Change the culture — Replace stigma with strength. Challenge outdated thinking. Raise a generation proud of who they are.
- Unite the village — Bring together parents, educators, and allies who are ready to raise neurodivergent kids without fear or apology.
