Be Careful Where You Get Advice About Your Neurodivergent Child

A lot of parents turn to groups for answers.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what they need.

But it’s important to understand what you’re actually getting.

Be careful where you get your information.

Especially when it comes to your neurodivergent child.

When you ask a question in a group, you’re not just getting opinions.

You’re getting direction.

Some answers come from experience.
Some from guesswork.
Some from people just as overwhelmed as you are.

And sometimes, people speak with confidence… without really knowing.

It can sound right.

That doesn’t mean it’s useful.

Because advice without context can do more harm than good.

Before you apply anything, pause.

Does this make sense?
Does this fit my child?

Because what works for one child might not work for yours.

And what sounds good in theory might not hold up in real life.

Don’t let noise replace judgment.

You know your child better than anyone.

No Shame. No Pity. No Cure Needed.
